Ladycross Plantation Caravan Park is a beautifully sheltered and screened site, less than 2 miles from Egton Village and conveniently located for touring the magnificent North York Moors National Park and the beautiful Yorkshire coast. Egton is a small, idyllic village about 6 miles to the West of the historic and lively fishing port of Whitby, so you're within easy reach of all Whitby attractions such as Whitby Abbey and Whitby Harbour. The site is family run and has been awarded the renowned David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award. We welcome families and children and offer baby changing facilities to guests. Also available is a vegetable preparation and washing up area in a central position. Guests can be assured of good television reception.

Facilities and amenities at the site are extensive and include a heated amenity block with toilets, showers, hair driers and electric shaving points, a laundrette with a washing machine, spin drier, tumble drier and sink, and we have a site office which is well stocked with leaflets of local attractions. Guests also benefit from an on-site pay phone and you can purchase items such as milk, bread, eggs, calor gas and newspapers from the site office. A book exchange library is also available. The park is surrounded by stunning woodland, perfect for dog walking. Electric hook ups for 10amp, 240 volt are provided. Guests should note on travelling to us that the A169 Whitby to Pickering northbound has steep down hill 1 in 5 on approach to Sleights. Continue on A169 to roundabout with A171 and turn left. Danger! Do not follow left turn off A169 in Sleights signpost Grosmont, Egton. It is dangerously steep.
