Ladycross Plantation Caravan Park is a beautifully sheltered and screened site set in thirty acres of mature woodland and all caravans are set in pockets of open area in between the trees. The is less than 2 miles from Egton Village and conveniently located for touring the magnificent North York Moors National Park and the beautiful Yorkshire coast. Egton is a small, idyllic village about 6 miles to the West of the historic and lively fishing port of Whitby, so you're within easy reach of all Whitby attractions such as Whitby Abbey, the old town cobble streets historic buildinsg and kippers, a working harbour, beautiful sandy beaches stretching to Sandsend but beware of course, as legend has it, Dracula.

The park is family run and has again in 2013 been awarded the renowned David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award and is AA 4 pennant and 5 star Enjoy England tourist board rated.

Facilities and amenities at the site are extensive and include two modern amenity blocks with under floor heating, spacious showers with free hot water and hygienic infrared 'no touch' shower controls, private cubicles, kitchen preparation and chemical disposal areas at both blocks, and laundrette facilities with baby changing area. There are also five fresh water and waste disposal points around the site.

The shop and reception is well stocked with leaflets on local attractions and also a selection of local basic provisions such as milk, bread, eggs, ice cream, drinks, a book exchange library and also a Calor gas exchange point. The park has its own nature walk perfect for dog exercise and each pitch has 10 amp, 240 volt electric hook ups. We welcome couples, families with children and group rallies.
