Cross Cottage in Wigglesworth is one of the best places to stay is you're after a quiet break away from the stresses of city living. Situated just outside of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, our 5 star graded cottage is ideal for activity breaks, with walking, cycling and many other outdoor activities available.

One of the best features at our cottage is the glass panelled wall in the lounge, allowing superb countryside views stretching all the way to Pendle Hill. We have styled each room with individual décor, including our double bedroom and twin bedroom. Both rooms have TVs in, with the master bedroom having a 19" LCD TV with Freeview, as well as en suite bathrooms. The fittings in our kitchen are all handmade with granite worktops, an electric cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. There is comfortable seating and a plasma TV in the lounge alongside a small collection of books, games and DVDs.

Guests to our cottage will find a welcome pack upon arrival with tea, coffee, milk, sugar, free range eggs laid by our own hens, a bottle of wine, logs for the woodburning stove in the lounge and a set of house cleaning products. We can include a Wii games console upon request and we have a WIFI connection available. We also have another self catering cottage called Gamekeepers Cottage that sleeps up to 6 and can be booked together with Cross Cottage to accommodate 10.
