Just behind the cottages are quiet lanes that take you to the lovely Forge Valley, Harwood Dale and Troutsdale – peaceful and undisturbed areas perfect for a relaxing walk or drive. Nearby there are attractions and activities that appeal to all tastes and ages, including the beautiful countryside (open moors, forests, coastal walks), outdoor pursuits, historic buildings, seaside resorts, market towns and small moorland villages.

Leisure facilities include a superb indoor heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. The Teddy Bear’s Cottage and adventure playground are very popular with the children.
