Rooms Description

The Hayloft in Scarborough has two bedrooms and sleeps upto 6 guests. This delightful cottage is part of a converted farm building situated in the grounds of Row farm lodge in a quiet area on the edge of Scarborough. It is completely rebuilt inside and fitted out to a very high standard, with modern furnishings. Original details of the old farm building are retained. On one side it faces the central courtyard with pond and on the other side it has a free view of the countryside surrounding Scarborough. It has its own (private) part of the walled garden. Next to the buildings there is an orchard which can be used as a play area and which has barbecue facilities. The property includes an entrance, into spacious lounge with two French windows set in old walled arches leading to the garden. There's a Dining area and Sofa bed in the lounge. The large kitchen has a character slate floor, opening onto the patio area and garden. On the first floor there is a bedroom with twin beds, wardrobe and dressing table and a bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe and dressing table. There is a spacious bathroom with bath, electric shower over the bath, toilet and washbasin. Guests benefit from lots of storage space and a Velux window.

For a real character property, we offer Chapel Cottage in Fylingthorpe which can accommodate upto 4 guests. This cottage started life as (part of) a Methodist chapel in 1799.
