Butcher's Laithe is our stone built detached cottage near Tosside which straddles two counties, Red Rose Lancashire and White Rose Yorkshire. It's location is very scenic, tranquil and calming. Bursting with character, you'll love the spacious rooms, beams and woodburning stove and you can say hello to a couple of feathered residents in the eaves, an owl and a kestrel.

The rooms really do have a country feel to them, thick stone walls to keep out the summer heat but retain it in winter, recessed windows and wooden floors. A bright modern kitchen with a dining area for six. Three comfortable bedrooms comprise a king size with zip and link convertible bed and an ensuite bathroom, a double and a single room. A family bathroom has a bath with a shower over it and we also have a ground floor cloakroom/WC. For relaxation we provide a Freeview TV, DVD, CD radio. Outside is a large furnished patio, parking for 4 cars and a garage with secure storage for bicycles. All your self catering essentials such as power, bedlinen, towels etc are included in the rental and we have an honesty box for the woodburning fuel
