This former school has been beautifully refurbished to offer spacious accommodation for up to 6 people in the main house and 4 people in the annex. The two parts can be rented together to sleep up to 10 people and makes the ideal place from which to enjoy outdoor pursuits or for a family holiday.
The detached holiday properties are idylically surrounded by glorious woodland walks and activities including mountain and cross country biking for the adrenaline junkies, as well as fishing and horse riding. Take a day trip to the seaside town of Scarborough which is just 10 miles away. Whitby is also a great day out an is an easy 20 mile drive from the School House. Take in the sights of historic York, enjoy the stunning scenery in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park or why not visit Flamingo Land theme park, great for the kids!
The main School House features a huge double height beamed living room, spacious gallery style kitchen, ample dining room and a twin bedroom on the ground floor as well as a bathroom. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms and a shower room with toilet. All three bedrooms have a sink & shaving point with mirror above. The Annex comprises a spacious living room, farmhouse style kitchen/diner, a double and twin bedroom and a shower room with toilet.
Ample parking is available as is cycle storage. There is a shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside the school house is a paved courtyard with a BBQ and patio furniture, and the Annexe offers a gravelled yard with grassed area to the side, again with BBQ and patio furniture. A large grassed area sits to both sides of the properties, with a large lawned area in front of the school house.
