There are a great many attractions to be found within easy reach of the resort including Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay, the harbour town of Whitby, Pickering, Goathland and the historic city of York with its museums, shops and restaurants. Filey is renowned for its glorious five miles of sandy beaches stretching from Filey Brigg to Bempton Cliffs to the south. This is a great spot for nature lovers as we are also close to Filey Dams Nature Reserve. Filey Brigg is also a good lookout for watching seals and, if you are lucky dolphins. The town is also ideally situated for those ramblers walking the famous Wolds Way and Cleveland Way.
