We're just 5 minutes walk from the centre of town and all of Whitby's attractions; including the Abbey Visitors Centre and Captain Cook Museum. Vegetarians and other special dietry requirements can be catered for and packed lunches are available on request.
Pets, with well behaved owners, are most welcome, and donations to Whitby Dog Rescue are accepted. Free on-street car parking is available on a first come basis (we do not have private parking). Rooms Description
At the Arches, guests can choose from a variety of rooms, all en-suite, including double, family, twin and single rooms (with private bathrooms). Ground floor rooms are ideal for guests with impaired mobility (some disabled equipment is available). All rooms are centrally heated, have colour televisions, hospitality trays, hairdryers, radio alarm clocks, desk fans and comfortable beds. Ironing facilities are available. Free broadband WiFi is now available throughout the building.

Our 'secret' is that we treat people the way we would like to be treated, and we will always endeavour to go that extra mile to make our guests feel welcome and 'at home' We are open for Christmas and New Year on B&B basis; our 3 night breaks are ideal for those trying to escape the stresses of the usual family Xmas mayhem.
