About this property
Our beautifully presented Argyle House B&B dates back to the 1850's and has been sympathetically restored to offer quality, en-suite accommodation. Many of our guests return again and again and regularly recommend the Argyle for awards. Guests can expect a hearty full English breakfast, and we take care to cater for special diets, including vegetarian and Gluten free. Parking is free on the street and there is a pay/ display car park only 100 yards away. More details on my website ........
Our aim is to give you the best service possible to ensure you have a trouble free stay in a very clean environment and then to make sure you leave fully satisfied after our hearty but healthy breakfast. We're very proud of our service and are confident that you'll enjoy your experience at Argyle House. Our rooms are decorated to a high standard and unlike others, don't charge extra for Memory foam mattresses, wi-fi & DVD players (on request)

All bedrooms are en-suite and have an iPod clock radio alarm, free Wi-Fi, hair dryer and unlimited tea and coffee, some have a flat screen televisions with DVD's. The en-suites are all refurbished and equipped with showers and a full range of toiletries and towels. We have six double en-Suite rooms, some with memory foam mattresses at no extra charge. A Luxury suite & four poster bed available. Twin/triple rooms also available. Please note our prices displayed are a guide price. Our double rooms vary from £58 to £86pn. We are awarded the 4 star rating by the English Tourism Council. (They stayed over 8 nights in 2007) We can also arrange your choice of flowers, wines and champagne - ready for your arrival. Or you can leave it up to us, we can supply a package deal of red or white wine and a nice Bouquet of flowers for £23. Breakfast is locally sourced and chosen for their taste and quality. We have a large selection of breakfast to choose from, including Vegetarian and Gluten free. Cooked breakfast is grilled or baked to be extra healthy.
