The cottage is ideally located for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, and is within easy reach of a number of tourist attractions and beautiful towns and villages. The World Heritage site of Fountains Abbey is just a ten minute walk away, and the cathedral city of Ripon is just a five minute drive away and is home to a number of attractions including museums, historic buildings and Wilfred Owen's House. Just outside the city is Ripon Racecourse and Lightwater Valley themepark, and the spa town of Harrogate is just half an hour away, ensuring there is plenty to see and do whilst staying at Mallard Cottage.
This stunning stone cottage has two bedrooms; one double and one twin and there is also a large family bathroom. Downstairs, there is a stylish and comfortable lounge area with a real fire, TV with Freeview and DVD player, and books and games, fully equipped kitchen, a utility room, a WC and a dining room. The cottage also has parking for two cars.
The cottage offers peaceful accommodation in relaxing surroundings, ideal for walkers, a romantic trip or a holiday away with friends. We also have a B&B on site, and are unable to accommodate children under 16.
