The farm is an 18th century working farm set in 120 acres of Woodlands and Pastures. It lies close to a river and is within walking distance of the North Yorkshire Moors. There is a separate lounge for guests with TV, Video and a wide selection of books. Also a guests dining room with a wonderful view of the surrounding area. Enjoy breakfast in beautiful surrounds and listen to soft music. See the lovely collection of Tea Pots, China, and musical instruments. Look out on to Flowers and shrubs in an old World garden. We also provide packed lunches for those who like to walk the hills and moors of this wonderful part of the National Park. We have ample Parking & access by Public Transport. The Bed & Breakfast has Central Heating throughout & is a Non-Smoking Establishment. No Pets in House.

A twenty minute walk takes you to the village of Glaisdale which offers a Shop, Butchers, Post Office, and three Public Houses which all serve meals. The village is next to a river, which can be fished, there are also many public footpaths and Glaisdale is on the Coast-to-Coast walk. Other villages in the area, which are all within a 10/15 minute drive from Glaisdale, include Grosmont, which is home to the North Yorkshire Steam Railway, which runs from Grosmont to Pickering. Goathland better known as Aidensfield, from the popular TV programme Heartbeat, is a 15 min drive away. The Farm is about a mile from the A171 and 8 miles from Whitby with it's Fishing Port, beautful Abbey, Swing Bridge, Cobbled Streets, Park & Museum.
