The Esklet Guest House makes a comfortable base from which to explore the many attractions of Whitby and surrounding area. Within minutes you have access to the Historic town centre, harbour, beach and countryside. You can visit the Abbey made famous by Bram Stoker’s Dracula novel written at his residence round the corner near the James Cook monument. In the old town you can see where James Cook lived and sailed from the internationally known harbour. The Esklet is also ideally situated for touring the local area famous for the natural beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Visit the Heartbeat country, enjoy the Steam Railway passing through it. Why not enjoy one of the many scenic walks or simply enjoy the sandy beaches and view the dramatic coastline including Robin Hood’s Bay and Ravenscar.
The Esklet Guest House offers a choice of 8 rooms to guests on a B&B basis, comprising 4 double/twin rooms, 3 doubles and 1 single room. All rooms are en-suite whilst the single room has its own separate bath with power shower. Rooms have been tastefully decorated with quality furniture and accessories to ensure a comfortable stay. In the morning enjoy a freshly cooked breakfast in the spacious and attractively presented dining room. The breakfast menu is extensive and uses fresh local produce whenever possible.
All bedding is hypo-allergenic and the duvets are luxury goose feather and down. The B&B also caters for special dietary requirements and advance notice would be appreciated.
