Property Information

We offer a very warm Yorkshire welcome to Furnace Farm in 'Fryup' in the peaceful Esk valley. Furnace Farm is a four star graded property in the North York moors national park and only 10 miles from Whitby. This give you an ideal base for driving through the moors or along the coast with stunning views. We've ample parking and you'll be delighted with the beautiful river/woodland walks on the farm with an abundance of wildlife. We'll accommodate your dogs by arrangement ie:in a kennel in an outbuilding. Ours is a non smoking establishment through out and we're open all year except Christmas and New Year.

Our farm has been in the family for several generations and there's a very interesting history associated with it. There's an abundance of things to do and pleanty of places to explore within a twenty to thirty mile radius

Additional Information

We have a double room which is ensuite or a double room with a pritvate bathroom, both of these can be made into a family room and we have a cot if you require. The second double room can also be converted to a twin room if you need. Both our rooms are peaceful and spacious. They're very tastefully decorated and have stunning views across the dale. You'll have a courtesy tray which includes fresh milk daily, biscuits, beverages and Herbal Teas. There's a TV, a clock radio and hair dryers, plus large soft towels.

Specialities

Homemade produce including bread and marmalade - a delicious start to the day. If you want to do a spot of fishing there are day permits available from a local shop.
