The lodge has an unusual octagonal shape, with 360 deg panoramic views of Scarborough Castle, the National Park & sea, and set in 2 acres of private garden and grounds. We're situated just two miles from Scarborough and within easy reach of Whitby, York and the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside.

You can relax in the guest lounge or enjoy the superb views from our spacious, windchime decorated conservatory. The house is totally non-smoking and is licensed. Ample private parking spaces are available and we take pets by arrangement and welcome children from the age of 7 years. Harmony Lodge is perfectly located, with Scarborough just a 5 minute drive away and the National Park, Dalby Forest, Harwood Dale and the National Nature Reserve of Forge Valley woodlands close by. We're a fantastic base for walking, cycling or motoring tours. The area also offers some breathtaking scenery for photographers, artists and nature lovers.

Rooms Description

All en-suite rooms are attractively decorated, comfortable and there's a choice between single, twin, double or family rooms. Each is fully equipped with television and complimentary tray, bottomless beverage facilities, hairdryer and ironing facilities on request. In keeping with the nature of the house, each room is individually named and has a unique view of the sea or countryside. We also have a very comfortable, fully equipped 5 berth 'Torbay 28' static caravan in our private grounds for self catering holidays.

Specialities

We can arrange Aromatherapy, Reflexology or Head/shoulder massage by prior arrangement. Also, Sue is a vegetarian and we take special care to ensure special diets are catered for. Proprietors: Susan Hewitt & Tony Hewitt M.B.E. There is a church within the grounds giving the facilities for marriage, funerals, christening/naming ceremony or special blessings. On Wednesday afternoons or Monday evenings healing is offered (no charge).
