Life Hill is a working farm close to Sledmere House and within easy reach of York, Bridlington, Scarborough, Beverley, Driffield and Hull. A little further afield are the North York Moors and Whitby. Newly converted into high quality holiday accommodation, it is the perfect place to spend a short break or longer holiday. The Bed and Breakfast accommodation offers the choice of a large double/ family room or a double and twin bedded room. The rooms are light and airy and are tastefully decorated.
There are many places of interest for everyone of every age to enjoy. For those who love walking or riding , Dalby Forest, Cropton Forest and The National Bride Route Network are close by. For those who wish to delve into a little history, Sledmere House, Castle Howard and Burton Agnes Hall are within easy reach. There is a choice of a large double/family room in ht the farmhouse or a double and twin bedroom in the adjoining ground floor annexe. The farmhouse bedroom boasts stunning views across open farmland and over the Yorkshire Wolds. All rooms have TV, hairdryer and hot drinks. The Self Catering Accommodation can allow families and larger groups to share the facilities. There are comfortable bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and small dining area with a table for four people. There is a separate dining room for larger parties.
