Spend a few nights in the hidden valley of Sandsend. This beautiful little village is quaintly situated on Yorkshire's heritage coastline. Nicknamed 'Dinosaur Coast' it is a popular haunt with fossil collectors and the waters are perfect for fishing enthusiasts. The impressive cliffs offer secluded shelter for those wanting to relax on the unspoilt tranquil sands. Several streams run down through to the beach providing safe paddling and boating for children. More energetic visitors might want to take advantage of Cleveland Way Trail which offers great off-road cycling and breathtaking walks along the cliff tops. The Woodlands Hotel is very close to the beach, set in our own gardens, bordering the beutiful Mulgrave Woods.

The hotel is no smoking, although you are welcome to smoke outside in the gardens. A hearty breakfast & the morning papers are also included in the price of each room.

We have five rooms available each room includes the usual, such as tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryers & goodies in the bath room. but it is the unusual that we pride ourselves on - the attention to detail. a night at the woodlands is so much more than a place to stay it will be a memory to cherish.
