The guest house is peacefully situated just a 2 minute walk from Bridlington's sandy South Beach, stunning promenade and recently re-furbished Spa Theatre and only 5 minutes from town centre restaurants, shops and inns. The town of Bridlington lies on the East coast of Yorkshire, with good road links to some major cities and towns including Leeds, Hull, Scarborough and York. It is a peaceful seaside town, with a blend of traditional attractions as well as contemporary pubs, bars and restaurants.
Awarded a 4 star rating for excellence, the Bay Ridge Bridlington Guest House boasts an experienced and qualified chef serving traditional full English Breakfast from quality locally sourced produce and free range eggs. A 4 course Evening meal is also available. If you are going out for the day we can gladly provide you with a packed lunch.We have a large comfortable well stock bar, a separate t.V Lounge and a nice Patio area (sun trap). Nearby attractions include the spectacular cliff-top Sewerby Hall and Gardens, the newly re-furbished Spa Theatre with on-site Edwardian theatre and 1930s ballroom, Bridlington Leisure World and Bridlington Harbour. Within easy reach are breathtaking coastal walks with Flamborough Head just north of the resort and Spurn Point to the south.
At the Bay Ridge, all rooms are en-suite with either a bath or shower, we now have a ground floor single and double room both with en-suite shower which is ideal for anyone who has difficulty getting up stairs, although we do have a stair lift to the first floor. We have 15 letting rooms which range from single, twin, double and family, all with colour t.V tea and coffee making facilities, a range of toiletries and hair dryer. This year we have had WIFI fitted to all rooms free of charge to our customers. Every year we continue to upgrade our facilities and we now have a strong return of customers.
The service we provide at the Bay Ridge is excellent, the food is freshly prepared on the premises using only the finest produce sourced locally where possible with regular compliments from return guests.During the summer we have in house entertainment, a bar snack menu and daily specials, our large comfortable lounges enable guests to sit quietly, watch T.V or join in the activities in the bar, we now offer 2 mobility scooter's for hire. Group bookings welcome and special birthdays and private parties catered for.
