The tiny village of Sowerby lies on the outskirts of the historic market town of Thirsk, in the Vale of Mowbray, at the heart of Herriott Country. With the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west and the North York Moors National Park to the east, the bustling town of Thirsk is just half a mile away, boasting a quaint market place, splendid Georgian buildings, a Norman church and excellent pubs, shops, restaurants, a cinema and a leisure centre. The cathedral city of York and the coastal resorts of Whitby and Scarborough are also within easy driving distance of our self-catering holiday cottage.
Our holiday cottage comprises 2 Kingsize Double rooms, 1 Twin room, shared bathroom, fully-fitted kitchen with electric oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher, a living area with woodburner, Freeview TV, DVD player, CD player, books, games and DVDs, and an enclosed courtyard garden with furniture and BBQ. Bed linen and towels are also included in the rent, and a cot and highchair are available.
