Mytholmbridge cottage is a large comfortable 18th Century barn conversion providing spacious, contemporary open plan accommodation in two units; The Barn at Mytholmbridge sleeps 3/4 & Mytholmbridge Studio Cottage which sleeps 5/6. It is close to local amenities & public transport & yet set in a secluded location with large car parking facilities and private garden. The adjacent fields are home to the owners small flock of Jacob sheep. A welcome tray and a home-baked loaf of bread shall be awaiting on arrival. Situated at the foothills of the Yorkshire Pennines in the picturesque Holme Valley. The area is renowned for it's appearance in TV’s ‘Last of the Summer Wine’, and guests have easy access to Sid's Cafe in picturesque Holmfirth. We are also ideally located for the Peak District.

The Studio cottage features 18th Century beams within its spacious split level accommodation. The lounge/dining area, which opens up to the oak beamed ceiling is spacious & comfortable. It has a coal effect cast iron fire for extra comfort, although, there is sufficent central heating and insulation. The well equipped kitchen includes oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, washer, dryer, fridge, and hostess trolley. The Victorian style bathroom is on the ground floor including bath, shower, vanity unit with washbasin & w.c. The Barn Mytholmbridge, has the same 18th century features with delightful views over the river Holme from the lounge french window. The dining room, kitchen is well equipped including washer, tumble dryer, fridge, microwave and full electric hob/oven. Good insulation, central heating and constant hot water along with ambient lighting and décor reflecting the owner’s artistic influence ensure you a warm and cosy holiday.
