Nestled in the picturesque village of Bilton in Ainsty. A short drive away is York city famous for its history, museums, Minster and ghost tours. The market town of Wetherby is just a few miles away and has a variety of restaurants and pubs, and the spa town of Harrogate is also within easy reach.
Chequers Inn is run by your friendly hosts Lynn and Don and they are on hand to ensure a welcoming and comfortable stay. The Inn prides itself on serving modern British cuisine using only the finest local produce. Lunch and evening meals are served and there is also a Children's Menu and Sunday Lunch menu available. The hub of the inn is the bar where you can relax and enjoy a great selection real ales, wines and spirits.
There are three guest rooms available, one single, one double and one twin room. All rooms have full en-suite bathrooms and excellent facilities including a TV, DVD player, CD alarm clock, free Wi-Fi internet access and tea/coffee refreshment trays. All guest rooms have fully adjustable heating and a varied breakfast menu is served each morning which is included in the room rate.
The Chequers Inn is also home to a restaurant serving freshly prepared food using the best local produce. Lunch and evening meals are served and there is also a Children's Menu and Sunday Lunch menu available. Cask ales are also served.
