Gallowgate Cottage dates back to the early 1800's and is beautifully refurbished to a modern standard. The cottage is just 10 minutes walk from the market square. Ideally suited to couples looking for a relaxing break or small families with older children, the cottage is well appointed and ideally located in this beautiful and historic town. There are a variety of shops, restaurants, and numerous pubs within easy walking distance from Gallowgate. The cottage is equipped to a high standard, there are marble worktops, a butchers trolley and ceramic hob in the conservatory kitchen. The cottage has full central heating fired by a combi boiler and in the living room there is glass fronted living flame gas stove, which makes the cooler evenings a warm, cosy experience. The downstairs bedroom has a very comfortable and spacious king-size bed. Just ten minutes walk down Gallowgate will take you into town where there are many good pubs, several of which extend a warm welcome to dogs as well as owners! For all types of groceries and supplies, there is a large Coop store nearby. In the town there are a range of excellent grocery stores selling good local produce at reasonable prices.
