In an 18th Century building, we offer three large properties on a peaceful, narrow street. The area is steeped in history, and our apartments are modern retreats set just away from some of Whitby's best attractions for children and adults. Our properties sleep between two and four people, and are packed full of great features with everything you could possibly need for a great self-catering break.
Attractions close to our Ammonite Apartments include impressive sandy beaches perfect for fossil-hunting, games of frisbee, and lazy days under the sun. If you're feeling brave, you can try out The Dracula Experience, or you can enjoy a great day out with the kids at the Whitby Wizard Museum, with hands-on exhibits and amazing optical illusions. We'd recommend a Whitby Harbour boat cruise during your visit, and we're close to a huge selection of chain and independent shops, luxury restaurants and charming traditional pubs. We have three large apartments on offer for short stays and longer breaks. Our Mermaid Apartment can comfortably sleep two, with a king-sized bedroom and a well-equipped kitchen that includes a BBQ hob, a microwave, a gas hob and a cooker. You'll find an electric fireplace, a TV and a DVD player in the lounge, and will have access to dining facilities and a fully fitted bathroom. Our Starfish Apartment features a contemporary lounge, a twin bedroom and a double bedroom, and in the Seahorse Apartment you'll find similar facilities with a large, separate dining room for the family. All properties have soft, comfortable beds, provided linen and towels, PlayStation consoles and games, a selection of books, videos and DVDs, a CD player, kitchen supplies and essential cleaning provisions. We also provide a selection of toys for our youngest guests.
Here at our Ammonite Apartments, you'll enjoy great accommodation that your whole family can appreciate. We're able to provide a z-bed, cot and highchair by arrangement for a young couple staying with a baby or toddler in our Mermaid Apartment. We also offer pet-friendly accommodation, though ask that you consider the fact that all rooms have hard flooring. Friendly pets are always welcome by arrangement - just call in advance to discuss your requirements.
