From Haworth: drive west towards Stanbury and Colne; through Stanbury village and down a steep hill past the Old Silent Inn (on your left), then uphill again and past a small chapel on the left. Ignore a left turn to Ponden House across a reservoir embankment, keeping to the main road that now skirts the north side of Ponden Reservoir for a quarter of a mile. At the head of this reservoir, our turn is the first possible turn left at the far (west) end of the reservoir – and is on first blind left bend, so drive slowly at this point. There is a home-made sign saying 'Whitestone' on both sides of the turn. *Drive over the bridge, then immediately right through a large double-metal farm gateway (gate may need opening and closing if sheep in field) and up steep track to our buildings. Park to the right of the area and ring the bell on the double wooden doors of the farm house. From Colne (M6/M65 direction) A6068 towards Keighley, turn right at Laneshaw Bridge on unclassified road (sign says Haworth / Steam Railway / Bronte Parsonage Museum). Drive up past Wycoller Country Park to your right and over moortops into West Yorkshire. Ignore left fork in the road after Scar Top Country Pine, drive down into valley past Silver Hills Farm and Old Snap farms on the right, take next turn right over small stone bridge at west end of Ponden Reservoir. There is a home-made sign saying 'Whitestone' on both sides of the turn. follow directions above from *
