These superb well appointed cottages are located in the village of Ruswarp on the edge of the brooding North Yorkshire Moors just outside Whitby. All facilities are very close by. Ruswarp offers a traditional pub, an award winning butchers and small mini market providing all your day to day needs. Boating takes place on the River Esk alongside the minature steam railway. There's even a pitch and putt golf course and cafe, with an indoor play barn for the children.

Whitby is a five minute car drive away, or you can walk across country within 25 minutes.There's so much to see and do! Whitby is the home of Captain Cook, the Endeavour being in port during June creating a very bustling scene. The ancient Abbey stairs tumble down into Church Street where the many unique shops will fascinate you and leave you wanting more. Just down the coast lies Robin Hoods Bay where images of smugglers abound within it's many alley ways, nooks and crannies. It's a steep incline down to the beach so you'll need to be fit! The Moors have many footpaths cris-crossing the heather giving spectacular views of the North Yorkshire Moors railway as makes it's way through the Heartbeat village of Goathland down to Pickering.
