The Tennyson is a three star highly commended Bridlington Guest house centrally situated just a short walk from Leisure World, the town centre, Spa and north beach. The railway station and coach park are a short taxi ride away, making this the ideal destination for those holidaying without the car. Bridlington is a popular Yorkshire resort and both the north and south beaches hold Seaside awards, ideal for family beach holidays in Yorkshire. The town has a rich history and is home to one of Britain's most complete Georgian high streets, now the art, antique and food quarter.
Bridlington is also the ideal destination for a golfing break, with five golf courses to be found within a short drive. Among these are the Belvedere Golf Club, Bridlington Links Golf Club, Flamborough Head Golf Club, Hornsea Golf Club and Filey Golf Club. Other activities that can be enjoyed include bird watching at Flamborough Head and the famous Bempton Cliffs, Spurn Point and Hornsea mere. Whatever your taste, you are sure to find an activity to suit within easy reach of this magnificent East Yorkshire coast resort.
A choice of double, twin and family en-suite rooms are available, all tastefully decorated . Our ground floor room is ideal for those who have difficulty with stairs, although not equipped to take the disabled. Our lovely four poster bed room is located on the top floor. Each guest room is complete with colour TV with freeview, tea and coffee making facilities, table top fridge, hair dryer, alarm clock and clean white bath towles. After a good night's sleep, join us for a hearty full cooked breakfast in the dining room. WIFI.
Home cooked evening meals are available by arrangement from October to May. Sorry not during the peak season of June to Sptember. Whilst we are not a licensed premises we are happy to supply glasses so that you can provide your own wine. Value for money packed lunches can be provided with a little prior notice. We are happy to provide flowers or chocolates for that special occasion (subject to an additional charge).
No Single night bookings on a Friday or Saturday during June July August and September. Minimum 2 nights stay on a Bank Holiday.
Open Christmas and New year B&B only. Fully booked Scooter weekend.
Off season deals are available between September and March. Three nights B&B mid week £70.00 per person in an en suite double or twin. Three nights B&B in the 4 poster is £80.00 per person.
