Welcome to the 4* Lonsdale Villa Guest House B&B, situated in the spectacular South Cliff area of Scarborough. This attractive Victorian property boasts 10 ensuite rooms all of which are bright and cheerful. Many of our guests visit repeatedly as we are often commended on our friendly and attentive service. Sit back and relax as we prepare breakfast for you. You can expect a hearty Full English breakfast or a lighter option in our light and airy dining room with separate tables for each room. We provide a menu for you to choose from and we can cater for anyone who may have special dietary needs. After a day out visiting attractions why not relax in our cosy guests lounge.

We are perfectly located being only a 15 minutes walk from Scarborough’s town centre via the picturesque Esplanade. Nearby are many attractions to take advantage of such as the Spa Conference Centre, Stephen Joseph Theatre, Esplanade and Oliver’s Mount. We are also ideally situated for The University. For the more energetic there are plenty of coastal and countryside walks, the North Yorkshire Moors being easily accessible. Closer to home, enjoy Scarborough's golden beaches and majestic cliffs. Visit nearby Bridlington and Filey, traditional British seaside towns, or Whitby, famous for its fish and chips and Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Whatever you want to do on your holiday, we're sure you'll find something to suit your needs!

The Lonsdale Villa has been graded Visit Britain 4 stars Guest Accommodation for superb quality and guest care.Our 10 tastefully decorated rooms are all ensuite and individually decorated. All rooms are centrally heated and all have been recently double glazed. We have a range of room types available including singles, twins, one family room and doubles. All rooms have flat screen TV's with freeview, hostess trays and hairdryers. We are a totally non smoking property. There is a ground floor double room available. Wi Fi internet access available upon request

There are no parking problems here, there is unrestricted street parking outside the Guest House in a disc free zone. A local bus service runs from outside the Guest House into the town centre. We are also only 5 minutes walk from Filey Road which serves bus routes to places further afield or a 15 minutes walk to the railway station

Minimum stay two nights and usually 3 nights during August, a single night stay may be available at short notice or at quieter times. A small supplement applies for single night stays (when available).
