Oats Royd Barn - Hebden Bridge

Wonderful Loft Apartment, part of a Modern Barn Conversion near Hebden Bridge in the Pennine Hills

From:£300Per week sleeps 4 (seasonal)

    Property Information

Luxury Loft apartment in the easy comfort of a superbly converted mid 19th c. mill stable - now a large and very unusual family home.

Oats Royd is perched on a steep valley side, high above the ancient village of Luddenden, with Midgley and Booth nearby. Luddenden Dean is a beautiful narrow 'hidden' valley which runs south into the main Calder valley at Luddenden Foot. Just a couple of miles west is the liveley town of Hebden Bridge. Recently voted best town in Britain for its eclectic mix of independent shops, it is buzzing with cafés and bars, alongside galleries, gift shops and organic food outlets. The whole area is steeped in fascinating industrial, architectural and social history; with the Calder and Hebble Navigation Canal, the railway and many other interesting old mill towns such as Halifax, Sowerby Bridge, Todmorden, Haworth and others. With superb walking, cycling, touring or simply 'pottering about' straight from the door, Oats Royd Barn is an ideal base for exploring many parts of Yorkshire and Lancashire.

    Additional Information

Our open-plan Loft Apartment sleeps 4 in extreme comfort. It has a double bed on a raised, screened platform and a cosy twin room up in the roof. We use high quality bed linen, towels etc. to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Please let us know any special requirements (eg. food, non-feather pillows) on booking.
