Visit Websitefor more informationHall Farm B&B enjoys a very peaceful and tranquil setting, we are 1/2 mile away from the road and enjoy stunning panoramic views to the east. As you drive up to the farm you will see cows with their calves from March. We offer you a friendly family welcome with homemade scones on arrival. There is ample parking and guests are welcome to enjoy both the garden and walks on our 400 acre farm and in the surrounding countryside. We now have wi-fi. You may sit in the pergola or in the conservatory. Packed lunches are available. There are a great many places to eat within easy reach and the Fairfax Arms in Gilling East is within walking distance. Call me direct on 07989 013048.
The attractive market town of Helmsley is a 10 minute drive with its lovely shops, cafes and Castle. Ampleforth College & Abbey are nearby and Ampleforth College Junior School is in Gilling East. There is also a miniature railway in the village operated by the Ryedale Society of Model Engineers and a golf course and sports centre at Ampleforth College. There are lots of places to visit locally such as Castle Howard, Nunnington Hall, Rievaulx Abbey and Terraces and Helmsley Walled Garden. The North York Moors and the nym Railway and the coast are nearby, and the famous city of York just a half hour drive away.
One ground floor double room with en-suite shower room with thick towels and crisp cream bed linen. The room also has a new flatscreen TV and the hospitality tray includes home made biscuits. The view from this room is quite amazing. There is a sitting room for your use, with TV and a log fire on chilly evenings. The dining room opens into a conservatory, again with stunning views, where breakfast will usually be served. Special diets catered for. We are proud of our full English breakfast which includes home made bread and preserves and locally sourced produce. Children sharing this room are welcome up to 12 years and a travel cot and camp bed are provided. We now have WIFI internet access.
