Guests looking for the perfect West Yorkshire walking and horse riding holiday accommodation will find Red Rose holiday cottage near Hebden Bridge the perfect choice. Our beautiful cottage is situated at the end of a private lane on the edge of the Wadsworth Moors, just 2 miles above the historic bustling town of Hebden Bridge and 1 mile from Old Town and Pecketwell villages, both of which have fantastic real ale pubs serving food. All modern facilities are available in the cottage including a newly fitted kitchen which includes a microwave and a delightful back garden with ample outdoor furniture. With direct access onto the Calderdale Way and miles of footpaths and bridleways, the cottage is a superb base for walkers, cyclists, horse riders and photographers. Horse riding lessons are available on request from the adjacent equestrian centre.

Originally the farmhouse, spacious Red Rose Cottage near Hebden Bridge retains beautiful original features like the staircase, beautifully tiled floors and magnificent stone fireplace in the sitting room with oven and a salt hole. Accommodating four guests, the two bedrooms are a master double bedroom with ample in-built wardrobe storage space and a twin bedroom with zip and link beds which can be a king-size on request. Immaculately presented throughout, all bedlinen is inclusive and the upstairs bathroom is fully fitted. An additional wc also features downstairs. The sitting room has a feature antique woodburning stove (all fuel is supplied free) in the original fireplace plus luxury leather sofa seating, an antique pine bookcase, a dining table and chairs and a TV, CD and DVD player. Outside there is a pretty stone paved patio and lawn area with stunning Pennine Yorkshire views.

Additional Information

Cultural centre Hebden Bridge, just 2 miles from the cottage, features acclaimed shops, trendy cafes, fabulous restaurants, an independent historic cinema, Victorian train station, modern art galleries and live music venues. Within a mile or so are two traditional village pubs serving good home made food, and Old Town village features a post office/shop. Our family business Hebden Bridge Equestrian Centre is run by our daughters Tamzin and Zara. They offer Riding Lessons and Scenic Hacks on our quiet and friendly horses and ponies. Golf is available locally, and Hebden Bridge Tourist Information Centre has details of the many other attractions of this amazing area. We're within easy driving distance of Haworth and Bronte Country.

Just across from the cottages is Hebden Bridge Equestrian Centre. Set in 20 acres of gently sloping farmland on the edge of the Wadswoth moors above Hebden Bridge. We are a small, friendly family run business offering Riding Lessons, Show Jumping & Hacking on the bridleways directly from the yard!
