Outside of term times they provide excellent self catering accommodation and they're the perfect base on a budget for visitors or conference delegates to this beautiful and historic city. There are several restaurants, cafes, bars and gardens within a short walk and the college overlooks the Hellington sports fields which are close to some fantastic sports facilities. All the attractions and nightlife of York are within easy access.
Halifax College was opened in 2003 and is the newest college around the campus. Our rooms are fully self-catered with a well equipped kitchen including electric cooker, fridge, freezer, crockery and cutlery. We have a laundry facility and security is 24hrs. Each house has a shower room and bathroom and each room has a washbasin.
Check in times are from 2pm and you are requested to check out by 9.30am. Parking is free from midnight on Fridays and at weekends. All other times at £5 per day
