The hotel building originally dates back to 1779 and was designed on the plans of the Mansion House in London. The picturesque town of Whitby is said to be 'the jewel in the crown of the Yorkshire Coast' and the historic harbour remains to this day a working port. The Upper Deck Restaurant offers traditional and local specialities. All are freshly prepared using only the finest quality local ingredients where possible. We pride ourseleves on serving good quality, home cooked meals. Real Chips and Large portions, all at reasonable prices. In addition to the restaurant there is also an open plan bar with comfortable seating, pool table and large television with Sky sports and music.
