Prospect Villa Guest House in Whitby is situated at the top of Prospect Hill, close to the harbour front, attractions, railway and bus stations. This historic town is famous for many things including being the starting point for Captain Cook's epic voyage and providing the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Gothic novel, 'Dracula'. There is a beautiful sandy beach on one side of the harbour and a small beach on the other side under the Abbey cliff. Guests can spend their short or weekend break in Whitby and North Yorkshire exploring all the area has to offer before retiring to the comfort of your well appointed room complete with modern facilities.

Lovers of the great outdoors will find no shortage of things to do in and around the town. Walkers and cyclists can tackle the Cleveland Way, Coast to Coast and Lyke Wake Walk and the old railway line to nearby Scarborough is part of the national cycle network. We have an arrangement with a local bike shop who will deliver and pick up hire bikes from the guest house. Each day begins with a full English breakfast and vegetarian options are available if required. Music fans will love our music themed dining room (and owners)! Packed lunches can be provided for your days out with 24 hours notice.
