About this property
Located between the historic city of York and the beautiful North York Moors, Apple Tree Cottage is our self-catering holiday home in Westow. We invite you to spend your stay amongst 250 acres of stunning farmland grounds, complete with our own animals and an abundance of wildlife. We encourage guests to walk around, interact and get involved, though we offer plenty of privacy and don't mind if you'd prefer just to relax in your own cosy retreat.
A converted Grade II listed barn, Apple Tree Cottage isn't short on character. It has original exposed beams and interior brickwork, and offers all you need for comfort and convenience. The lounge includes a TV, a VHS player, a DVD player and a selection of books and games, and features a window seat with a south-facing view. It has a living flame electric stove, and it's open-plan leading to the kitchen with its modern appliances including a washing machine and dishwasher. The ground floor features a comfortable, warm double bedroom, and there is a second-storey gallery with twin beds. The bathroom features both bath and shower facilities, and the property includes a sofa bed for two. You'll also have use of an enclosed patio, including a rotary washing line, table and chairs and BBQ.
