Directions to Saxonville Hotel

Directions from West or South - take the M62 to Leeds. A64 to York. Around York bypass to Malton. Take A169 off Malton bypass to Pickering. Straight through Pickering, over the moors to Sleights. Straight through Sleights, up bank to t-junction. Turn right towards Whitby. Follow signs for West Cliffe. On West Cliff you will see The Metropole. Turn right in land onto Argyle Road. Ladysmith Avenue is the first turning right after the garage. If you are coming from the North follow the A19 south to Middlesborough. Go over the Middlesborough flyover (Showcase Cinema on the right). Turn off the A19 onto the A174 - signposted Guisborough, Scarborough and Whitby). Follow the signs for the A171. This will bring you around the Guisborough bypass and over the moors to Whitby. If there is a lot of traffic, it is advisable to follow the "Whitby and Scarborough Diversion Signs" which are on the A174. As you come down from the moors, turn right towards Whitby. Follow signs for West Cliff. On West Cliff you will see The Metropole. Turn right in land onto Argyle Road. Ladysmith Avenue is the first turning right after the garage.
