About this property

The Seacliffe Hotel offers four star guest accommodation on Whitby's North Promenade. The hotel overlooks Whitby beach and harbour entrance and enjoys spectacular views from Sandsend to Whitby Abbey. The Seacliffe Hotel is conveniently located close to the Spa Pavillion, the Leisure Centre & Indoor Pool, the Cliff Lift and all of the West Cliff's attractions. The Pannett Park Museum and Art Gallery can be found nearby and contains many items relating to the voyages of Captain James Cook. A short walk along the promenade will bring you to the old town and harbour, overlooked by the medieval abbey made famous by Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Whitby is the ideal base from which to explore Yorkshire's Heritage Coast and the neighbouring beaches at Sandsend, Runswick Bay, Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay. Further inland lies the dramatic North York Moors National Park and Heartbeat Country, the TV series based in Goathland and Whitby. Lovers of the Harry Potter films might like to take a trip on the North Yorkshire Steam Railway, running between Pickering and Whitby. Other places well worth a visit include the market towns of Thirsk, Northallerton, Pickering, Stokesley and Bedale.
