Bay View is situated on the Esplanade in Hornsea overlooking the seafront with fantastic views over Bridlington bay and Flamborough head in the distance. This spacious ground floor apartment has just undergone major, yet sympathetic, renovation and is now fully modernised and tastefully furnished offering warm and welcoming holiday accommodation for up to 5 people. The property has excellent facilities including two bedrooms, a spacious, bright and airy living room with a large bay window with window seat where you can enjoy the fantastic sea views, as well as a comfortable 3 piece leather suite, TV with digital Freeview and a DVD/CD player with a selection of discs and a fully fitted kitchen with all mod cons. You can enjoy the summer sunshine and wonderful sea views in the small lawned front garden which has a furnished patio area. There is an off road parking space for one vehicle directly in front of the property plus more free parking across the road.

Hornsea is a tourism hotspot thanks to its traditional British seaside environment with miles of sandy beaches and a great choice of attractions, including Hornsea Mere, Yorkshire's largest freshwater lake where there's a whole host of family activities to be enjoyed, Hornsea Folk Museum, Honeysuckle farm and Hornsea Freeport outlet village. The town centre is a short stroll away and has a variety of restaurants, bars, cafes and take-aways all within an easy stroll of each other and a variety of independent, long established retail shops and there are 2 convenience stores just a 5 minute walk away. The sandy beach and award winning promenade are just across the road. The resort is popular with sea anglers as competitions are frequently held on the beach. Only 50 yards away is the Floral Hall Cafe which provides delicious home cooked fare and is the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by. Other popular seaside resorts nearby include Bridlington, Filey, Scarborough and Whitby to the north. The picturesque historic market town of Beverley is just 12 miles away and the popular Skirlington and Strawberry fields markets are nearby.

Additional Information

The first of the apartment’s two bedrooms is very spacious and has a faux leather king sized sleigh bed plus a single fold out futon chair providing a further comfortable bed if required. The extra bed can either be used in the bedroom or moved into the sitting room. You will also find ample wardrobe and drawer storage space. The second bedroom has two bunk beds and is perfect for children. You will find all beds freshly made with clean linen upon your arrival plus bath towels and tea towels are provided. In the modern fitted kitchen you will find all the mod cons you would expect - a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, electric oven and microwave and is fully equipped with plenty of unit and worktop space. The property also benefits from a dining area and a tiled modern bathroom with a large shower.

Specialities

Bayview has everything on its doorstep and with a bus stop directly outside the front door a car is not necessary. There are regular buses running to and from Beverley and Hull and serving the surrounding villages plus the ‘Little Bus’ serving the town. Hornsea and the surrounding area offers endless hours of entertainment and fun from leisurely country walks and golfing to energetic water sports and horse riding plus much more.
