Alternatively, The Premier Restaurant is more intimate, and seats 60 guests. This restaurant offers a carvery with a wide selection of dishes and table service for wine and drinks. For snacks, the Empress Cafe and snack bar is open from 10am to 4.30pm, providing everything from hot and cold drinks to sandwiches and cakes.

The magnificent Cabaret Ballroom is the Hotel's primary entertainment venue, coming alive every night with top quality entertainment. With a fantastic programme of events, guests are able to enjoy fully costumed live Cabaret shows, dance the night away or dazzle with their vocal talents in the late night Karaeoke Bar. Extensive facilities are to be found at the Grand including a Games Room with Snooker & Pool tables, Darts & Table Tennis, Newsagent and Gift Shop, Lifts to all floors and Extensive Sun Terrace. Check-in is available from 4pm, and check out is by 10am. Car Parking is available on the street for £4.00 a day, or alternatively a concession is available on the nearby NCP carpark.
