The Langley is situated on Whitby's popular West Cliff with panoramic veiws overlooking the sea, it was built in 1851 by George Hudson & opened as the Lancaster Boarding house & apart from the the short time in its history as a baracks for the Army during the 2nd World War it has always been a Guest house, its unique position on the corner of Royal crescent & Crescent Avenue means all its rooms have sea views & is within easy reach of the Beach, Cliff Lift, Childrens Paddling Pool, Crazy Golf, Trampolines, Go-Carting, the Wizards Work Shop. We are also near to Whitby's Leisure centre and Swimming Pool.Just a few minutes walk from many of Whitby's lovely Restaurants, Pubs and Cafe's. Visit Whitby Abbey, Captain Cook Museum, R.N.L.I.
