A warm and welcoming lounge invites guests to snuggle up by a magnificent open range fire surrounded by traditional features such as flagstone floors and exposed beams. A pretty garden at the front of the cottage overlooks the local church, beyond which sits the local pub.
Holmedale is situated within the pretty village of Dalton. Listed in the Doomsday book, this small Richmondshire village is around six miles from the Georgian market town of Richmond, complete with its splendid castle, the historic Georgian Theatre Royal, and pleasant riverbank walks along the River Swale. The property is an great base for touring the Yorkshire Dales and Herriot Country.
The accommodation is furnished and decorated to a high standard, and is heated by oil-fired central heating throughout. The lounge area has a flagstone floor and an imposing fireplace with a cast iron log-burning fire, as well as good entertainment options. The kitchen and dining area is well appointed, with excellent self catering facilities. The accommodation comprises of two bedrooms, one double and one twin, both are cosy and comfortable.
There is a lawned garden at the front of the property, which comes complete with garden furniture for guest use. Parking is available for one car. All fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.
