There are walking & cycling routes to suit all tastes nearby with a large number of outstanding landmarks and natural features to discover, Stainforth Force waterfall first amongst them. A dog-friendly, local inn serves the village with traditional pub food and drink and a tearoom too. Alternatively the bustling market town of Settle, just over 2 miles away, offers more options for eating & drinking as well as shopping at the weekly Tuesday market and family-owned shops.

Riston Barn in Stainforth is located on the first floor and is accessed via a stone staircase. The lounge/dining room features an electric stove, colour television, DVD player and a CD/radio player. The fitted kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, a microwave oven and a fridge with a built-in icebox. The cottage sleeps two guests in one double room that features a four poster bed and an ensuite bathroom with bath.
