Scenic walks into the heart of the Dales are direct from the door of Vale Cottage and other superb features include adjacent off road parking, a choice of local traditional pubs serving fine Yorkshire real ales and panoramic views across the surrounding Yorkshire countryside from the delightful south facing courtyard garden.
Historic market town Middleham near Leyburn sits within easy reach of a range of top Yorkshire attractions including famous Yorkshire Abbey, Jervaulx Abbey. Visit nearby Yorkshire breweries within easy reach of Vale Cottage including the Black Sheep Brewery and Theakstons Brewery both in the Masham area or take in some of the Yorkshire Dales' famous beauty spots such as spectacular Aysgarth Falls. An abundance of walks and hikes are waiting to be enjoyed around market town Middleham along with outdoor activities such as horse riding and mountain biking. Vale Cottage on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms, including one Double room with King-size bed and a second room with zip link beds which can be made up as twins or a super king size (please request if twins required). The lounge features an atmospheric wood burning stove, TV, DVD player and radio/CD player. The fitted kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Pretty pet friendly Vale Cottage with its fine views also boasts a relaxing south facing courtyard garden, perfect for alfresco dining. Garden furniture and a charcoal barbeque both feature within the courtyard garden and great for walkers and cyclists is the storage area available in the available shed for bikes and outdoor equipment. One small, well behaved pet is welcome (must be kept downstairs). On street parking is to the front of the cottage. Starter pack of logs/sticks are provided for the woodburner. Remainder of fuel, power, bed linen and towels included. Telephone and Wi-Fi connection are both free to guests.
