The mellow stone building has been comfortably furnished and decorated tastefully to appeal to all types of guests, from chilled-out group holidays, to romantic getaways and fun, active family breaks. The property accommodates up to four guests with indoor and outdoor spaces to relax in and enjoy the views of surrounding countryside. Dogs are also welcome at Jasmine Cottage meaning no member of the family needs to be left at home.
The cottage lies in the small village of Wilton which is on the main route from Thirsk to Scarborough along the edges of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. The cottage is therefore an excellent location from which to explore the beautiful moors and Yorkshire's heritage coastline with great opportunities for walking, cycling & mountain biking, and horse riding right on the doorstep. The ancient market town of Pickering is just 10 minutes drive away and is the ideal place to stock up on provisions with its weekly outdoor market offering a wealth of fresh local produce.
The attractive York stone cottage's exterior space with a private patio and hot tub, leads through French doors into a spacious interior ground-floor with a comfortable sitting room and large kitchen. The sitting room has a high beamed ceiling, a feature fireplace, and plump sofas. Entertainment is provided by a television, DVD player, radio and a piano. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, oven/hob and a dishwasher. On the upper floor there is a single bathroom and two bedrooms offering king-sized double or twin beds.
Able to cater for a wide variety of guests, Jasmine Cottage in Wilton is warm and well equipped with all bedding and towels, heating and electricity included in the cost of rental, and an initial supply of fuel for the lounge fire is also provided free of charge. Facilities for laundry are available for an additional charge if required. Outside of the cottage, the outdoor patio and hot tub areas, acres of grassland and childrens' play area ensure guests aren't stuck indoors whilst on-site. The cottage is dog-friendly and has ample parking.
