The homely cottage has a cosy living area with an electric flame effect fire and is located near the Yorkshire Wolds where the gently rolling land is popular with walkers & cyclists. Being a self-catering property, guests don't have to worry about the restraints of a hotel and are given the freedom to come and go as they please and cook their own meals if they wish.
Thirsk is a small market town in the Hambleton district of North Yorkshire, with plenty of things to do locally including the Thirsk Racecourse and the North York Moors. The town boasts a selection of shops, including both the high-street favourites and quirky, independent stores waiting for you to explore and enjoy, as well as a range of eateries (from cafés to restaurants to pubs). The friendly town also boasts excellent transport links to the neighbouring areas, including Ripon, York, Northallerton and Bridlington.

Kilburn Park Cottage sleeps 2 guests in a homely double bedroom, which is beautifully decorated in a traditional style and has use of an immaculate double shower room. The lounge has a comfortable seating area with a TV and DVD player, as well as an electric flame effect fire - ideal for snuggling upto during the cooler months. The well-equipped kitchen has all the necessary appliances for a self-catering holiday, including laundry facilities and there's even a dining area with enough room for a romantic dinner for 2. Guests have access to a pebbled courtyard with garden furniture and communal garden with orchard beyond.

All fuel, electricity, bed clothes and towels are included in the rental cost. Please note only one small well behaved dog is accepted and this is at an additional cost of £20 which must be paid at the time of booking. The property is not large enough to accept large breeds. Access to communal freezer in out house. Ample off road parking. This property can be booked together with White Horse Cottage to accommodate up to seven people.
