Our objective is to provide you with a high quality of accommodation along with a breakfast that is second to none in Whitby. The Waverley is situated on Whitby's famous West Cliff and therefore conveniently positioned for the promenade, beach, town centre, harbour and shops. Within a 10-15 minute stroll you can be in the old town. There are many interesting shops selling all kinds of goods from Whitby Jet to specialist chocolates, from kippers to jewellery, clothes and much more. You can also visit the world famous Sutcliffe gallery and see photos from days gone by. Take a short drive from Whitby in any direction and you will find many other interesting attractions which include: Magnificent North Yorkshire Moors, The Esk Valley, Goathland (the location of Heartbeat), Runswick Bay & Robin Hood's Bay. Whitby is an ideal holiday destination as there are activities in and around Whitby to suit all tastes. The area is a walker's paradise, a historian's delight and a coastal gem. Children love the traditional bucket and spade holiday accompanied by crab fishing, amusements and ensuring that there really are 199 steps leading to the Abbey. In short, Whitby has it all!
All of our rooms are comfortable and the larger rooms have an extra bed for younger family members if needed. Each room has a TV, Radio Alarm, Hairdryer, Tea and coffee making facilities & Complimentary toiletries. Rooms available are four double en suite, a single with private facilities and a twin. On the ground floor we can use the double and twin rooms which are across from each other as a family room. We welcome children over 5 years of age.
