The surrounding moorland and countryside inspired Ted Hughes as a child in the creation of some of his most endearing masterpieces, and the same exhilarating scenery continues to delight visitors today. This Mytholmroyd holiday cottage is within easy reach of Hebden Bridge, and is a moorland drive from the town of Haworth and all its attractions.
The accommodation is furnished and decorated to a high standard throughout. The lounge boasts a living flame gas fire and dining table, with good entertainment options including a TV, DVD, radio and CD. The kitchen has an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The master bedroom has a double bed as well as good en suite facilities, with a second twin bedroom well appointed and comfortable.
The cottage offers ginnel access from the rear ideal for bikes etc & there is on street parking to the front of the property. Ted's Cottage is also pet friendly with one small well behaved pet welcome. A travel cot & high chair is available for hire on request and all fuel, towels & linen are provided.
