Guests looking for a tranquil break away can enjoy the luxurious furnishings and classic amenities of Glendene House. Sleeping up to 8, the property is ideal for a family holiday in Yorkshire or a group get together. Glendene has been immaculately finished and furnished to a very high standard and boasts picturesque views to ensure that guests enjoy a peaceful break.
Whitby offers a variety of attractions to keep visitors busy and entertained. Take a gentle stroll through the grounds of Whitby Abbey, the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula, and discover the rich history of this beautiful property. There are many boutique shops, restaurants and tea rooms for guests to explore, spend a day on the beach or take a walk down the private lawn to the River’s Edge and watch the seals playing and the salmon jumping.
With a total of two baths, two showers and four toilets, there will be no waiting for a bathroom! All supplied with super soft fluffy towels and bathrobes – bliss! The beautiful dining kitchen offers dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, double Range cooker and microwave as well as the usual utensils, pots and pans. Included in the price is gas central heating, electric, Sky TV, a basketful of logs for the open fire, bed linen, towels and a lovely welcome pack on arrival. To assist with anyone less mobile, one of the Master Bedrooms is located downstairs and features an en-suite with wet-room style shower (no door or tray). Unfortunately, due to pale carpets we cannot accept pets.
To make your stay extra special, we offer a range of extras to await your arrival, these include the following (to be paid for at time of booking) – Champagne chilling ready to be cracked - £30 Bouquet of fresh flowers - £30 Large box of Chocolates - £15
We offer weekly bookings on a Friday to Friday basis and will consider short breaks – minimum 3 nights.
