Beacon View Barn is a Grade II listed sandstone barn recently converted to provide luxury 5* Gold self-catering accommodation for 6+. Winner of the 2012 North York Moors National Park Design Awards Quote “The judges said the scheme displayed a very high standard of craftsmanship” it has stunning views from all aspects. This charming detached barn lies within a pleasant group of old farm buildings which overlook a green with a dovecote and forms part of the listed farmstead of Crag House Farm Danby Dale. Beacon View is perfectly placed for exploring Dracula's Whitby, coastal Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay, with Scarborough, Dalby Forest, Flamingo Land and the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway all within easy reach.
The ground floor master bedroom with doors onto the garden has a king-size brass and iron bedstead and a large modern wet room en suite. The modern kitchen is well equipped and a utility room with separate wc inclusive. The spacious vaulted sitting room has oak beams, flagstone floors, rural antiques a wood burning stove plus the modern comforts of underfloor heating, variable mood lighting, flat screen freesat TV’s/DVD, iPod dock and free WiFi. The refectory table under the green oak staircase and gallery seats 10. The first floor has limed oak floorboards throughout there is a galleried landing with floor cushions and music centre.

The 2nd bedroom has a king-sized cream Brass and iron bedstead and a flatscreen TV/DVD. Bedroom 3 is a twin with zip and link beds. The large bathroom has a double roll-top bath, walk in shower, mood lighting and music speakers connected to the system. The private garden is enclosed and laid mainly to lawn with parking for 3 cars. An undercover flagged BBQ area, originally a hay barn has amazing views and makes a great party space with lighting and electric points, gas BBQ, dresser, tables and seats and the original corn milling machine.
