Secluded family caravan park with views of the North Yorks Moors, de-luxe pitches available

Golden Square Caravan & Camping Park is positioned on an idyllic spot, in the south-east corner of the North York Moors National Park. Guests are guaranteed panoramic views across farm, forest and moorland towards the heart of the North York Moors, where the Heartbeat television series is filmed. Golden Square is also conveniently just 2½ miles from the attractive and colourful market town of Helmsley, with it's historic castle. This is the Yorkshire, loved by James Herriot. Opening Times of the park are 1st March - 31st October. Recreation facilities include Play Areas, Crazy Golf, Cycle Hire and a Small Indoor Play Area. We do welcome dogs but they must be kept on a short lead at all times. There is an exercise field and ample woodland on-site.

For the Seventh Time in a row, the luxury toilet blocks at Golden Square have won the regional award for "Loo of the Year". All amenities at the park are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. De-luxe pitches are also available, which offer larger than normal pitches and are screened with shrubs and provided with electricity, fresh water, waste water and chemical waste connections. Grass Patio with Picnic Tables are available. There are also two heated luxury stone-built toilet and shower blocks with hot and cold showers. A staffed reception is on-site, and there's a shop which stocks a range of delicious Home-Baked Bread and Cakes, Cooked Meats, Frozen Produce and Licensed Drinks. Other facilities include a laundrette, electric hook-up points and gas supply.
