Just 6 miles, is the historic city of York offering a host of visitor attractions. The splendour of the North York Moors, with its famous steam railway, the Yorkshire Dales, castles, stately homes and theme parks, are among the numerous treasures within an hour's drive.

There's Excellent Facilities available at Goose Wood to please everyone. For Familys and Children we provide a Play Barn, Giant Chess and a Woodland assault course adventure play area. For the adults to make your stay even more relaxing we have facilities such as the Health Suite with Swim Spa, Sauna, outdoor Hot Tubs, Woodland Walks and a Coarse Fishing Lake. Other facilities are Exercise Machines, Shop & Off Licence and Laundrette. If you worried about being able to enjoy these wonderful facilities as a parent do not despair as we also have an Excellent Babysitting Service.

Goose Wood Holiday Park provides a choice of comfortable two and three bedroom holiday homes or spacious two and three bedroom lodges with countryside or woodland views. Providing Outdoor hot tub (Treetops, Colour TV, Kitchen including microwave, Bath and/or shower, Bed linen and duvets,Beds made up for your arrival, Verandah with garden furniture, Central heating(except Woodpecker, Goldfinch and Chaffinch), Gas and electricity included, Babies must be included in party total, Cotsides available free of charge (Woodpecker), Travel cots £10pw each (except Woodpecker and Wagtail) Highchairs £10pw each, All-male, all-female, or young mixed groups – please check when booking, Pets £20pw each (max 2) (in specific accommodation) Non smoking accommodation available.
